The 2025 National Hockey Championship is being held in Christchurch from 14th-20th of September Trails for Wanganui Men and Women are to be held on Sunday 13th & 20th of July To be eligible to play in the National Hockey Championship, the players must be 17 years old or over as of 1st January of the year in which the tournament is played. Cost is to be determined, but will incorporate Entry, Turf fees, Accommodation, Travel and Administration fees

Hockey Wanganui are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for the 2025 U16 and NHC Representative Team Coaches & Managers. Following the application deadline, interviews will be held with candidates and appointments announced.

The LNI U16 Tournament will be held in Taranaki from 8th-11th of July. Trials for both Boys and Girls teams will be held on Sunday 4th & 11th of May To qualify to play, players must be born in 2009 & 2010
