Managers are an integral part of the management of any team. They are the bridge between the team, coach, players and supporters. A manager can support and/or create a positive team environment and culture. Tauranga Hockey wants to support your role as manager and will hold an initial evening of presentation, followed up later in the year with an online learning programme.

A great and inclusive School Hockey programme for our Year 1 - 4's held in both the April and July School Holidays.. Whether picking up a stick for the first time or continuing on the development journey - we will have a place for you! Your child will be put into age appropriate groups with a coach.

Tuesday, 11 July 9 am- 12 pm

Hockey 5's is a fast-growing sport with NZ being in the World Cup recently. It is fast-paced and fun - a great way to challenge and grow in hockey. The day will run from 9.00am - 3.00pm in a Festival type format; the plan being one game on the field and one off. Players can register individually and will be put into teams on the day.

The Carnival has opportunities for players of all abilities. Tauranga Hockey intends to send teams for the following grades. 11-a-side selected competitive teams for year 10/11 students 11-a-side and 5-aside mixed ability teams for Year 10/11 students 5-a-side year 9 teams.

Workshops for umpires of all levels provided pre-season - highly recommend attendance to connect with others and learn/refresh the basics!

Trial Dates & Information Under 18 Men Sunday 7 April - 10 - 11:30 am | Friday 12 April - 4:30 - 6 pm Under 18 Women Sunday 7 April - 12 - 1.30 pm | Friday 12 April - 6 - 7.30 pm Please ensure you turn up 30 minutes before the start time so you are warmed up and ready to start.
